Flu and Pneumonia Vaccinations

Fluvax and Pneumovax are not live vaccines and as such as can be administered to patients with rheumatological conditions. Please visit your GP if you are considering either of these vaccinations.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE

Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme

Rural patients may qualify for The Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS). The scheme provides financial assistance to help with transport and accommodation costs for patients required to travel more than 50km from their nearest hospital to attend specialist medical appointments. The PTSS is administered through public hospital and health services in Queensland.
